Oil and Gas Intellectual Parade (OGIP) 2014 proudly presents : COMPANY'S DAY with theme "Energize and Empower Your Ability for Brighter Future". With special Guest : SKK MIGAS, PT PERTAMINA EP, PT ELNUSA Tbk, EXXONMOBIL, TOTAL E&P INDONESIE. Through this event, you will learn how to improve and increase your ability regarding to soft-skills and hard-skills in order to meet the demand of workers in oil and gas industry and learn how to face the recruitment process. So, it is your time to prepare yourself to get your dream's company.

National Seminary

The theme of this national seminary is “Rising Deepwater Offshore Oilfield Development”. This Seminary will discuss about the challenge of development oil and gas industry at deepwater offshore in Indonesia concern about planning, processing, technology, policy, and economics aspect that refers to the rules made by Government. Hopefully with this occasion could increase the knowledge of students (participant) about exploration and development at deepwater.

2014 OGIP

“Rising Green Oil and Gas Energy for Green Future”

OGIP stands for Oil and Gas Intellectual Parade which mean the event consist of series of activities that related the parade of intellectual. OGIP is oriented of students of petroleum engineering around Asia Pacific, Professional in oil gas and geothermal industry and general. OGIP is an annual program of Student Unit of Petroleum Engineering Department UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta in cooperation with SPE-SC UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, SM-IATMI UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta which has been held in the previous period. The first OGIP has been held in 2009 which name is PETRONOVOO, the second has been held in 2011 which name is 2011 OGIP, the third has been held in 2012 which name is 2012 OGIP, and the fourth has been held in 2013 which name is 2013 OGIP . In this year Student Unit of Petroleum Engineering Department UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta will present this activity as a continuation of the previous year which name is 2014 OGIP.

2014 OGIP will consist of plenty event which start from December 2013 until February 2014. The series of the event will be opened with National Seminary in December 2013. Next event will be held on February 2014, they are: Paper Competition, Plan of Development Competition, Smart Student Competition, Poster Student Competition, Company’s Day, Gathering, Social Activity, Exhibition, Panel Dicussion, and Golf Meet & Share. Our big hope with the convening of this activity may provide the place for student, professional, and society as general to discuss and make a mutualism symbiosis. 

The theme of 2014 OGIP is “Rising Green Oil and Gas Energy for Green Future”. This theme is chosen to motivate young generation mostly for university student to always develop theirself as breath to actualize the green oil and gas energy for green future. 

It’s mean that rising oil and gas energy and the utilization of them should be in green application. Therefore, we can reach the green future. With this theme, hopefully it could be a great slogan for government and companies to take a part and contribute on the rising green oil and gas energy for the green future.

2014 OGIP

“Rising Green Oil and Gas Energy for Green Future”

OGIP yang merupakan singkatan dari Oil and Gas Intellectual Parade mempunyai makna bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan rangkaian dari beberapa kegiatan yang melibatkan mahasiswa teknik perminyakan se-Asia Pasifik, kalangan praktisi professional, dan juga kalangan umum. Kegiatan OGIP merupakan salah satu program kegiatan rutin HM-Teknik Perminyakan UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta bekerja sama dengan SPE-SC UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, SM-IATMI UPN “Veteran” Yogyakartayang telah diselenggarakan pada periode-periode sebelumnya. Kegiatan OGIP ini pertama kali diadakan pada tahun 2009 dengan nama PETRONOVOO, dan yang kedua kalinya diadakan pada tahun 2011 dengan nama OGIP 2011, yang kedua diadakan pada tahun 2012  dengan nama 2012 OGIP, dan yang ketiga diadakan pada tahun 2013 dengan nama 2013 OGIP. Pada tahun 2014 ini, Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Perminyakan UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta kembali menyelenggarakan kegiatan inisebagai lanjutan dari tahun–tahun sebelumnya dengan nama 2014 OGIP.

2014 OGIP ini terdiri banyak acara yang dimulai dari Desember 2013 sampai Februari 2014. Rangkaian acara akan dibuka dengan Seminar Nasional di bulan Desember 2013. Acara selanjutnya akan diadakan pada Februari 2014, yaitu : Paper Competition, Plan of Development Competition, Smart Student Competition, Poster Student Competition, Company’s Day, Gathering, Social Activity, Exhibition, Panel Dicussion, dan Golf Meet & Share.Dengan diselenggarakannyarangkaian kegiatan tersebut besar harapan kami untuk dapat mempertemukan mahasiswa, praktisi professional dan kalangan umum sehingga tercipta kesinambungan yang bermanfaat bagi semua pihak.

Tema dari 2014 OGIP ini adalah “Rising Green Oil and Gas Energy for Green Future”. Tema ini dipilih atas dasar untuk memotivasi para generasi muda terutama mahasiswa agar terus berkembang, sehingga dapat mengaktualisasikan energi minyak dan gas dalam aplikasi yang ramah lingkungan untuk masa depan yang hijau.

Ini berarti bahwa kita harus meningkatkan sumber energy minyak dan gas dan penggunaannya dalam aplikasi yang ramah lingkungan. Sehingga, kita dapat mencapai masa depan yang hijau. Diharapkan juga dengan dipilihnya tema ini dapat memacu Pemerintah dan Perusahaan – perusahaan yang berkecimpung di dunia minyak & gas untuk menjadi bagian dan berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan energi minyak dan gas dengan aplikasi yang ramah lingkungan untuk masa depan yang hijau.
